Israeli Study Finds Anti-Cancer Potential in Cannabis

| in Research |

In a growing body of evidence collected by many countries outside of the United States, researchers are finding the promise and opportunity to use cannabinoids, found in Cannabis, to treat sickness and disease.

In this particular study, 50 varieties of Cannabis were tested with 200 different cancer cells.  It was found, like has been in the past, that the cannabinoids slow tumor growth and in some cases even caused cancer cells to "commit suicide" - the medical term for this is "apoptosis".

As more and more evidence is gathered by research from around the world, as well as personal testimonials and experiments here in the U.S., we are excited to see the opportunity for Cannabis to be used in its entirety for medicine.
