Collaboration Between Countries - Furthering Cannabis & Hemp Research

| in World |

When it comes to health and the prevention of disease - it’s exciting to see collaboration amongst groups of people around the world.  Working together, individuals in many countries are forming unique partnerships to create research and products that can be used and tested to further the exciting discovery of our Endocannabinoid System.

All human beings are pre-wired with receptors in their body that will respond to cannabinoids - found predominantly in cannabis or hemp - but also found in other naturally occurring plants in the world.  The CB1 and CB2 receptors in our bodies can respond to not only THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), but also to CBD (Cannabidiol) - a non-psychoactive component of cannabis.  This means that people don’t necessarily have to experience the ‘high’ induced by THC to instead experience additional benefits from cannabis or hemp rich in cannabinoids.

Raphael Mechoulam, known for his pioneering research on cannabis at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, has written and spoken extensively on the subject.  His work and research can be found online, and his collaborations and partnerships will continue to have positive rippling effects on the world of plant-based medicine.

The future of research and the application of cannabis and hemp for modern medicine is bright.  At That’s Natural, we celebrate our Food and Medicine Freedom and encourage you to do your research, and ask these four critical questions when finding a cannabinoid-rich, phytocannabinoid-rich or CBD-rich hemp product for you and your loved ones.
